In 2022, we developed a three-year strategic plan to serve as a roadmap for organizational growth and fiscal stability in service of our mission. Our goal is for Centralina to be an organization rooted in regional trust, collaboration and hope for a thriving, prosperous future. Our vision anchors the goals, strategies and annual actions that we will undertake between 2022-2025. The plan is flexible, but demonstrates our firm commitment to organizational excellence, fiscal responsibility and service.
Each year our regional programs and local services are shaped by an annual workplan that supports the overall strategic plan implementation. The annual workplan is developed with input from members and approved by Centralinaâs Executive Board. The FY24-25 workplan activities balance innovative service delivery with technical assistance to local governments and big-picture regional collaboration activities. Highlights for this year include:
- Launching the Centralina Integrated Mobility Center to enhance technical resources, capacity and grant assistance to advance our regionâs transportation agenda.
- Launching a regional brownfields program to support local governments in identifying and reimaging brownfield sites.
- Completing the regionâs Digital Inclusion Plan and Comprehensive Climate Action Plan, two processes that were initiated in FY23-24.
- Preparing new advocacy agendas to guide Centralinaâs state and federal engagement activities.
- Offering award-winning professional development and peer to peer programming for local government staff on a range of public policy and planning issues.
- Enhancing grant services, information and support to local governments.
- Launching new services for older adults including a home improvement and safety program and a partnership with the US Veterans Administration.
- Collaborating with employers, economic development and workforce development organizations to strengthen our talent pipeline.
