Centralina is comprised of many parts that help our organization achieve its mission. Our structure allows us to focus in on specific services, as well as cross-collaborate on larger initiatives. We have two internal-facing and four external-facing departments that provide support to our organization and our ongoing effort to lead regional collaboration.

Centralina is home to the Centralina Economic Development District, an entity designated by the U.S. Economic Development Administration to drive greater economic development planning across our nine counties. Learn More

The Centralina Clean Fuels Coalition supports the greater Charlotte region through economic, environmental and energy security by working locally to foster adoption of alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure, energy efficient mobility systems and other fuel-saving technologies and practices. The Centralina Collaborative gives our organization more opportunities to explore new partnerships and funding sources. As a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, the Collaborative can apply for grants from philanthropic organizations. Additional funding and partnerships are both key to ensuring Centralina has the resources to support our ongoing activities and initiatives. The Collaborative is governed by a board of trustees that meets four to six times a year to establish strategic priorities, approve budgets and oversee partnerships.

 

When a construction or repair contract over $300,000 involves a building, the procurement and contract are subject to additional requirements under N.C.G.S. 143-128. Therefore, this question must be answered to determine whether the additional statutory requirements apply to this procurement scenario.

The micro-purchase threshold is a federal procurement threshold under which competitive procurement is not required. The default micro-purchase threshold is $15,000, but local governments may increase the micro-purchase threshold up to $50,000.
