Our Regional Goals

Our nine-county region is a beautiful and vibrant place, comprised of 70 communities and 2.25 million people. Those of us who live, work and play here want to see our area thrive. Our contribution is to focus on expanding opportunity and improving regional quality of life across seven focus areas. These align with our regional goals in our current strategic plan that guides our work through 2022.

Our Impact

We strive for our work to make a difference for our region, local governments and the individuals who call Centralina home. It’s the impact we have at these three levels that fulfills our mission and makes us proud to be public servants.

We provide direct health, aging and workforce services.

Communities

We support elected officials, local governments and their staff by providing technical assistance, training and expertise.

Region

We identify opportunities and drive action by facilitating area-wide planning, collaboration and problem-solving across public and private sectors at the regional, state and federal levels.
