Kasia Thompson

Director of Strategic Engagement & Technical Services

Kasia Thompson is the Director of Strategic Engagement & Technical Services at Centralina. She joins the team from Cabarrus County, where she led strategic planning, data and performance management initiatives, and previously served as the county’s communications director. Kasia brings a strong background in public and nonprofit communications, including experience with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System and several nonprofit organizations.

Kasia earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and is a proud Knight. She is also a graduate of the UNC School of Government’s PELA and MCA programs.
