Iredell’s Ready for Workforce Development and Economic Growth

Leading the Way

Iredell County is setting a statewide example for workforce innovation through its Iredell Ready initiative, a collaborative effort to connect residents of all ages to meaningful career pathways. Spearheaded by the Iredell County Economic Development Corporation and supported by the Centralina Workforce Development Board and other key partners, Iredell Ready is building a more skilled, equitable and resilient workforce for the future.

Launched with $750,000 in partner contributions, Iredell Ready unites education, business and government to align strategic priorities and support career exploration from K–12 through retirement. To date, more than 150 businesses and community organizations have participated in this county-wide initiative.
