Linda Miller is the Director of Centralina Area Agency on Aging. She has more than 30 years of experience in the aging field and has been a part of the Centralina team for 25 years. Linda served as a Long-Term Care Ombudsman for the first nine years with Centralina and was instrumental in developing Centralinaâs evidence-based health program that has been delivering wellness programs in the community since 2007. She is one of 12 nationally certified Matter of Balance falls prevention workshop trainers, training hundreds of master trainers over the past decade.
Linda is the current Chair for the North Carolina Association of Area Agencies on Aging and Chair-elect of the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services. She is the past Chair of the Southeastern Association of Area Agencies on Aging and now serves on the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging Board. Linda received the 2018 North Carolina Association on Aging Leadership Excellence Award for her devotion to advocacy, training and education related to older adults.
