Join us for the second virtual workshop hosted by the Regional Resilience Collaborative where we will establish the groundwork and team building needed for community recovery planning partnerships. We will work with emergency management planning leaders to support actionable outcomes and needs for pivoting from response to recovery using the Local Leader Disaster Recovery Coordination Guide.
Participants will receive a customizable Pre-Disaster Recovery Plan template. The workshop will use a development guide to support you and your recovery planning team as they work with local government officials, recovery support committees, whole community stakeholders and community engagement members to develop the local recovery plan.
About the Regional Resilience Collaborative
The Regional Resilience Collaborative is a partnership between Centralina Regional Council and the Centralina Economic Development District, which received a U.S. Economic Development Administration Disaster Relief Coordinator Grant to assist jurisdictions and municipalities with building adequate capacity and enhancing resiliency. Through the Collaborative, the Centralina team will work directly with County Emergency Management Managers across the nine-county region to build upon existing County and City-level emergency plans through a series of disaster recovery plan evaluations, assessments, focus groups and workshops.
