The Centralina Economic Development District (CEDD) has been awarded funding from the Economic Development Administration (EDA) for a Centralina Disaster Relief Coordinator Grant under the Federal H.R.2157 Additional Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Act, 2019. The project will include assessing viability and resiliency of existing emergency management plans, evaluate establishment of a regional Emergency Management district roundtable that will engage jurisdictions in planning for major disasters, leverage resources and assets, and develop a regional strategy that includes all nine Centralina district counties. CEDD is requesting qualifications for emergency management planning services to assist in all phases of design and deliverable tasks associated with the project.

Qualifications should be submitted no later than 4:00 pm, February 24, 2021 to Mike Manis, CEDD President and Chief Operating Officer, at 9815 David Taylor Drive, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28262. For any questions regarding this project, please contact Connor Choka, Community Economic Development, Resilience Analyst, (704) 348-2723 or Mike Manis at mmanis@centralina.org or (704) 348-2720.
