Centralina Council of Governments is located at 1300 Baxter Street (Midtown Plaza Building) in Charlotte. Our offices are on the fourth floor in Suite 450.

From I-77 North and South: Take Exit 9B (John Belk Freeway East) to Exit 2A (Kenilworth Avenue). At the traffic light, go straight onto Charlottetown Avenue. At the first traffic light turn right onto Kings Drive. Turn left at the next traffic light (Baxter Street). Midtown Plaza will be on your right (a four story beige building). Free parking is available in front of the building and across the street.

From the East of Charlotte: Follow Independence Boulevard (Independence will veer off to the right at I 277) to Kings Drive. Turn left onto Kings Drive. Turn left at the next traffic light (Baxter Street). Midtown Plaza will be on your right (a four story beige building). Free parking is available in front of the building and across the street.

From the West of Charlotte: Wilkinson Boulevard turns into John Belk Freeway. Follow John Belk Freeway to Exit 2A (Kenilworth Avenue). At the traffic light, go straight onto Charlottetown Avenue. At the first traffic light turn right onto Kings Drive. Turn left at the next traffic light (Baxter Street). Midtown Plaza will be on your right (a four story beige building). From Eastern Gaston and Lincoln Counties: Highway 16 South cross over I-85. Highway 16 turns into Brookshire Freeway. Follow Brookshire Freeway to the John Belk Freeway exit at Kenilworth Avenue. At the second traffic light and turn left onto Charlottetown Avenue. Turn right at the next traffic light onto Kings Drive. Turn left at the next traffic light (Baxter Street). Midtown Plaza will be on your right (a four story beige building). Free parking is available in front of the building and across the street.

From I-85 North and South: Take Highway 16 South. Highway 16 turns into Brookshire Freeway. Follow Brookshire Freeway to the John Belk Freeway exit at Kenilworth Avenue.
